StatWorld is a very useful website where I found lots of information over my research topic, it let me find out all the statistics over how many drugs have been seized in Mexico. This website can be a good recourse page for when i'm working more on my topic

Bomomo is a website where you can make cool art work with all these different tools and colors. It is fun to play around with.

Wordle is a website where you can take all these words and make a collage. I like Tagxedo better because of it gives you more choices.

Tagxedo is very similar to wordle, The main thing that is different about Tagxedo is you can change your words into shapes. I prefer Tagxedo over wordle.

QR Code

QR codes are a pretty unique, the world is starting to use them more and more to create a mass markets from all different countries. I can see it being very helpful in the future.

            Now you can receive Quick Glance notifications, such as texts, emails and phone calls, all on your wrist. And when you want to respond to one of your messages on your Samsung Galaxy device, Smart Relay automatically displays the same message for you on your phone, so you don’t waste any time searching or opening applications. It can hold up to about 4MB and it really usefully. All the reviews I look at people had nothing but positive things to say about it.

Here are a few strengths I found out about the Gear Watch. Now, if your phone gets stuck in the couch cushions, you can use Galaxy Gear from the next room to remotely activate sounds or vibrations to make it easy to locate. You can also use your phone to help you find your Galaxy Gear, peace of mind goes both ways. Making calls on the move has never been easier. Now you can place calls and answer them directly from your Galaxy Gear.

Now some weakness, It isn't so user friendly for people that are a little overweight or have big arms. The watch only can bend so much so it doesn't fit on everyone. The battery life is ok depending on how often you use it. If you use it constantly for 4-6 hours it will die and you need to charge it.

You can answer calls and check the time at the same time so it’s like a watch and a phone in one. If you lose your phone you can call it from the watch. It is good for someone who is a business man and is multitasking.

You can be distracted will driving looking at your watch. It is very expensive to fix if you break it. It doesn't have the best fitting size it’s more of a one size fits all than a real watch.

The main website we were suppose to be using is down so I went and found one offline, I didn't like the one I picked because it was hard to embed or link it to my blogger but the way it was laid out was easy to use.

Mexico Drug War Flashcards

Quizlet is a site where you have a ton of options of learning stuff. You can do flashcards, and many more. It is really cool and can be a helpful learning tool.

Photoshop

In class we have been working with Photoshop, it has a lot of cool ways to edit photos. A really useful tool is the magnetic tracer, it allows you to carefully trace photos and be able to move that picture. It is a little confusing at first but the more you use it the more it gets easier to use.

Web 2.0 Tool

I picked a fun web tool to use. It is called Build Yourself Wild , you can choose to make a boy or a girl and you can name the person. Also you can choose all the different body parts and when you are done making it it will combined a name from all the different effects you did to your person as it did for me. It's a fun web tool and would be good for children.

5 Photo Editing Sites

In class today we visited 5 different photo editing sites...

The first one I went to was PicMonkey it is my favorite one out of all the other sites I visited. I liked all the different effects you could use, and I found it easier to use than the other sites.

The second one I went to was Pixlr  I didn't like this one as much. It was a little more difficult to use. I didn't have as many effect as Pic Monkey.

The third one I went to was Befunky this one is very similar to Pic Monkey and has just about the same layout. But I still like PicMonkey over any of them. Befunky has a lot of emblems you can add to make the picture more "funky"

The fourth one I went to was iPiccy this is another photo editing website that is like PicMonkey. iPiccy has the most choices out of any of the sites I visited. It has a cool effect where you can liquify the photo which makes a really cool effect to the picture.

The fifth and final website I went to was Fotor this website is my least favorite one out of the 5 I went too. It doesn't have that many effects and edits to choose from. It is also a little harder to use than any of the other ones.

Out of the 5 photo editing websites I went to today my favorite one is PicMonkey.

ZooBurst

ZooBurst is a website where you can make a book with pop ups and add text to the pictures you add. It is pretty user friendly and is good for when making projects that are a visual. I wouldn't use this very much because you don't have the biggest selection when it comes to picture, but it is still pretty neat!

Animoto

Animoto is a website where you can create a video and add text and pictures. It is a very useful way of getting you point across about your topic because most people remember or learn stuff better with pictures. Animoto gives you the choice to add pictures and text made into a short video.

Glogster

Glogster is a pretty cool website where you can make a collage of pictures, text, etc. it's can help when you want to be creative and add some cool styles or design to your work.

Wordle

Wordle is a website where you can take all these words and make a collage. It is pretty cool but I don't see myself using website that much, but it is a pretty cool and unique way to make a bunch of words look cool.

War on drugs in Mexico survey

Objective: To find out your thoughts and knowledge on the war on drugs in Mexico. Google Form is a very useful I really like it and will probably use it in the future, especially in college.

Bubbl is a website where you can organize topics and makes webs. It is pretty easy to use and is a good way of making webs for projects etc.

Symbaloo

Symbaloo is a website that you have easy access to other websites and the layout is like a apple iPad or an IPhone. It is a very helpful way to get to all the important websites you want just by the click of a button.

All About me Prezi

Prezi is sort of like PowerPoint in a sense. There a some differences between them but not many that i can notice. I prefer PowerPoint over Prezi because i'm more familiar with it, if i grew up using Prezi i would probably like it more.
