Quizlet is a site where you have a ton of options of learning stuff. You can do flashcards, and many more. It is really cool and can be a helpful learning tool.

Photoshop

In class we have been working with Photoshop, it has a lot of cool ways to edit photos. A really useful tool is the magnetic tracer, it allows you to carefully trace photos and be able to move that picture. It is a little confusing at first but the more you use it the more it gets easier to use.

Web 2.0 Tool

I picked a fun web tool to use. It is called Build Yourself Wild , you can choose to make a boy or a girl and you can name the person. Also you can choose all the different body parts and when you are done making it it will combined a name from all the different effects you did to your person as it did for me. It's a fun web tool and would be good for children.

5 Photo Editing Sites

In class today we visited 5 different photo editing sites...

The first one I went to was PicMonkey it is my favorite one out of all the other sites I visited. I liked all the different effects you could use, and I found it easier to use than the other sites.

The second one I went to was Pixlr  I didn't like this one as much. It was a little more difficult to use. I didn't have as many effect as Pic Monkey.

The third one I went to was Befunky this one is very similar to Pic Monkey and has just about the same layout. But I still like PicMonkey over any of them. Befunky has a lot of emblems you can add to make the picture more "funky"

The fourth one I went to was iPiccy this is another photo editing website that is like PicMonkey. iPiccy has the most choices out of any of the sites I visited. It has a cool effect where you can liquify the photo which makes a really cool effect to the picture.

The fifth and final website I went to was Fotor this website is my least favorite one out of the 5 I went too. It doesn't have that many effects and edits to choose from. It is also a little harder to use than any of the other ones.

Out of the 5 photo editing websites I went to today my favorite one is PicMonkey.

ZooBurst

ZooBurst is a website where you can make a book with pop ups and add text to the pictures you add. It is pretty user friendly and is good for when making projects that are a visual. I wouldn't use this very much because you don't have the biggest selection when it comes to picture, but it is still pretty neat!

Animoto

Animoto is a website where you can create a video and add text and pictures. It is a very useful way of getting you point across about your topic because most people remember or learn stuff better with pictures. Animoto gives you the choice to add pictures and text made into a short video.

Glogster

Glogster is a pretty cool website where you can make a collage of pictures, text, etc. it's can help when you want to be creative and add some cool styles or design to your work.
